i'm starting a few weeks of hitting up national parks, and checking the weather forecast reveals a concerning trend: everywhere i'm going currently has -10 degree lows overnight. including where i am now, which is easy to believe, since it went from bright sun at 5pm to pitch dark and frostbite conditions by 5.30pm

nice scenery though, hiking tomorrow!
